Assistant General Counsel II
The St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) Office of General Counsel is seeking to fill two Assistant General Counsel II positions. In these positions, the attorneys will represent the District in civil and administrative proceedings, as well as in permitting and enforcement regulatory matters. The attorneys will work closely with District staff and other stakeholders, and will provide legal analysis, advice, and representation to the District. The successful candidates will have a diligent work ethic, a proven ability to communicate and collaborate with team members, oral advocacy skills, superior writing skills, proven organizational abilities, demonstrated attentiveness to detail, demonstrated confidence and comfort working under pressure with deadlines and a commitment to personal integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
Admission to the Florida Bar and three years of experience as a licensed attorney in civil litigation, administrative, environmental, governmental, real property or contract law. A Master of Laws (LL.M.) from an accredited law school may substitute for one year of the required experience.
