We are looking for a bilingual, responsible, intelligent, energetic Title Closer that is interested in making a difference, leading people and building an amazing culture.

The right person must be detail-oriented as you must keep and maintain detailed notes on all actions. You will work side-by-side with file openers, processors, lenders, and real estate professionals. It is expected that all duties and functions will be done in an ethical manner while maintaining our core values of integrity, trust, respect, and commitment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Bilingual is Required. (Spanish & English) other languages a plus!
  • Correspond in Spanish or English as necessary with parties in the transaction including maintaining email correspondence with Realtors/Lenders/Attorneys/Buyers/Sellers
  • Ensure that title issues are resolved prior to closing
  • Review Closing File before settlement to ensure accuracy of title documents and lender documents
  • If a lender is involved, review closing instructions to ensure all conditions have been met or will be met before closing
  • Review all external loan information, including but not limited to, title reports, insurance information, termite reports, and flood reports to assure acceptability
  • Conduct Closing – explain all closing documents and closing costs in either Spanish or English as necessary.
  • Oversee the team that handles obtaining funding approval; prepare disbursements; prepare wire transfers
  • Conduct Post-Closing – review documents for all signatures, dates and notary requirements; send appropriate documents to parties involved in the transaction (i.e.) buyer, seller, lender, real estate professionals
  • When necessary, must be able to work extended hours beyond the normal workday
  • Willingness to travel when required

Education: High school diploma or better

Experience and Requirements: One to two years of title closing experience and FL Title License and FL Notary License.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees throughout the Company
  • Full knowledge in the preparation of a closing disclosure and HUD.
  • Knowledge in balancing out all funds received and all debts disbursed.
  • Knowledge of the Qualia Software is a plus.
  • Collaborate and influence outcomes through effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective analytical and customer service skills to support quality service delivery to a diverse audience
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Represent Company in a positive manner to drive new business
  • Strong commitment to understanding and utilizing applicable technology tools within the Company; diligent status updates to Qualia to effectively communicate the workflow within the office
