Logistics company to add 200 new jobs to downtown Tampa workforce

A logistics company that is in the process of moving its office to downtown Tampa said Tuesday that it plans more than double its workforce in two years.

Total Quality Logistics, based in Cincinnati, is launching a carrier services division in Tampa in July that will create 75 new jobs, Communications Director Mark Motz said. The company is also planning to nearly double its number of sales representatives, adding 100 to 125 positions.

That’s on top of the 150 employees TQL already employs in Tampa. The company in late 2014 signed a lease for 36,000 square feet in Knights Point on Harbour Island, as the Tampa Bay Business Journal was first to report.
