Transaction Coordinator
Job Description Summary
The Transaction Coordinator will work with both the local office (e.g., fee-earners, sales support and management) and other corporate departments. This position will be responsible for the accounting, billing and collection of commission revenue. He/she will ensure that local offices comply with required documentation; revenue is recognized according to company policy; and commissions are properly recorded, calculated, and paid.
Job Description
Transaction Processing:
Enter and/or review transactions and related documentation for accuracy and completeness
Recognize revenue within policy threshold
Close transactions
Make adjustments as necessary
Billing:
Generate and issue commission invoices
Record and manage contingency payments
Manage receivables and collections
Process payments received and provide cash application instructions to corporate accounting
Submit outstanding receivables to collections as necessary
Write off outstanding receivables
Other:
Provide revenue and transactions reports
Administer, develop and enhance reporting to accommodate local needs
Field any commissions related questions from fee-earners and local leadership
Act as liaison between local office and corporate departments
Role will report to the following:
Director of Operations, Market
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Degree desired but not required
Commercial Real Estate experience highly preferred
Microsoft Office suite, accounting and database software proficiency

Familiar with standard accounting principles and controls
