Position Details:
As a Traveling Community Manager, you will travel to properties in our national, diverse portfolio as assigned. Our portfolio of over 70 resort style apartment communities spans 12 states, from Las Vegas to New England and everywhere in between! You will have the opportunity to oversee the repositioning, re-branding, and lease-up efforts at our new acquisitions as well as manage long-term, stabilized assets while learning new markets in our diverse portfolio. You will manage the day-to-day operations at our communities including leasing, rent collections, delinquency, and resident relations, but you will also be able to implement your creative marketing ideas and strategies, assist in building new teams by interviewing, hiring, and training, and playing a key role in the acquisitions process by managing challenging and rewarding takeover properties.
Position Requirements:
- This position requires extensive travel in the U.S. on a 14-day rotation cycle (11 days at the location assignment, followed by 3 days off at your home base)
- 3-5 years management experience including supervising a team (property management, hospitality, retail, or restaurant management experience preferred)
- Outgoing personality and professional in presentation and communication
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit and strong leadership skills
- Promoting opportunities in the company and assisting in building new teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred
