The treasurer of the Tampa Mayor’s Alliance for Persons with Disabilities is retiring as our volunteer treasurer effective December 31, 2014. Connie Hayden-McPeak is a charter member of the Alliance and has served us for 28 years. She will be staying around and will train and assist the new treasurer. If you live or work in the Tampa/Hillsborough County area and would like to learn more about possibly becoming our treasurer, please send me an email. It involves attending board meetings and handling the expenses for the Job Fair, the Awards Luncheon, and the Annual Holiday Networking event. We have City staff who assist with the payment process.
