Homee, Inc. is a venture backed technology company that is revolutionizing the property management industry by providing on-demand property maintenance services to all types of properties (commercial, residential, multifamily). We are seeking to hire a Vendor Management Specialist to our growing team. The main responsibilities for the Vendor Management Specialist position includes recruiting and onboarding contractors/tradesman into our growing network of service providers, mainly in the specialties of plumbing, electrical, handyman, and HVAC. This position will be based in the company’s Tampa headquarters and require travel 40% of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Vendor Managers in following responsibilities:
- Identify and call plumbers, electricians, general handyman and HVAC techs to introduce Homee and the benefits of joining our network
- Assess the skill level and work ethic of each contractor to determine fit
- Describe the Homee app, how it works, and the steps required to become part of the Homee network
- Review our standards of conduct, rating system and pricing to ensure customer and vendor satisfaction
- Train new Homees on how to use the app and shadow their success on their first job
- Travel to on-board new Homees
- Deliver top customer service and represent the Homee brand to build relationships with existing customers and vendors
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of construction, maintenance or property management experience
- Effective communicator with customer service-oriented mindset
- Entrepreneurial DNA and strong local networking ability.
- Team player, self-motivated, efficient, intellectually curious, flexible, and reliable.
- Easily adapts to rapidly changing environment and demand.
