Vendor Operations Specialist – Tampa, FL

Primary Function
A Vendor Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining Lessen’s high-quality pool of vendors and subcontractors regionally who we rely on for renovations, turns, repair and maintenance projects. This includes, but is not limited to, great relationship building and vendor compliance management.
Core Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and expand positive vendor relations to ensure superior vendor and customer experiences.
  • Educate vendors and subcontractors on Lessen’s company policies and procedures
  • Ensure vendor programs run efficiently by serving as a liaison between vendors and field and maintenance teams, facilitating communication and resolving service issues
  • Communicate with vendors on insurance and other compliance requirements; ensure vendors continue to meet the minimum requirements to work with Lessen
  • Analyze data to determine gaps in coverage within assigned regions
  • Analyze project data and trends in vendor scorecards and assessments for improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with field project managers and maintenance coordinators to achieve priorities and goals
  • Implement new or modified Lessen standards and expectations

Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with Residential or Commercial Repairs & Maintenance, Property Management or Construction
  • 2-5 years of experience in Customer Service, Account Management or similar
  • A sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines and goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to details
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working alone and as a team
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office
  • Yardi Experience Preferred
  • Tech start up experience a plus
  • Bilingual preferred
